In honor of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations, the municipality of Lipjan together with diplomatic representatives planted 100 decorative trees around the “Sitnica” river, on which occasion the contribution and cooperation of the UN in Kosovo was highly praised.
The mayor of Lipjan, Imri Ahmeti, expressed his gratitude for the cooperation that Kosovo has with the UN over the years, while he said that marking this day by planting trees, more than symbolic is necessary for a clean environment.
