Heads of state paid homage today at the Memorial Complex in the village of Poklek. In the place where more than 50 people were killed 24 years ago, they said that a real “holocaust” took place there and that it is living evidence of Serbia’s genocide of the Albanian civilian population. The president, the prime minister and the speaker of the assembly also visited the house of the Muçolli family, where women and children were killed and massacred, and then their bodies were burned
President Vjosa Osmani has stated that today is one of the saddest days of the commemoration of the victims of the war in Kosovo.
She said that the massacre of Poklek and that of Old Çikatova are also painful evidence of how there is still no justice for the victims…
