At the opening of the court session in the case against the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, the defense of Hashim Thaçi, Gregory Kehoe, expressed his opposition to the sessions being held closed and requested that the proceedings be open to the public.
Kehoe said that they want the procedures to be kept open and the truth to be known, while also emphasizing practical concerns in following the methods used by the Office of the Specialized Prosecutor (OSP).
