It is not yet known whether the Government of Kosovo will appoint a representative who would serve as a point of contact to speed up the defense requirements of the accused in the “Thaçi and others” case. The Ministry of Justice has not indicated whether such a request was addressed to it by the Administrative Office, while the Specialist Chambers of Kosovo say that there is still no public document in the court regarding this issue.
In the last statutory conference, the defense of Kadri Veseli requested the appointment of a representative within the Government of Kosovo who would serve as a point of contact to expedite the defense’s requests for assistance and information. According to the defense, this representative would be particularly useful now that the start of the trial is approaching.
