The Tax Administration of Kosovo (TAK) has collected 50 million euros more in revenue in the first six months of 2024 than in the same period last year.
The director of TAK, Ilir Murtezaj, in a press conference on Thursday said that until June the total tax revenues are over 473 million euros, while they have collected 119 million euros in debt.
He emphasized that, based on this, the objectives set at the beginning of the year were exceeded.
He said that they have made the necessary preparations to fulfill the tax obligation during the summer season by gastronomy and singers.
Among the latter, Murtezaj said that last year there was an increase in the payment of tax obligations.
In addition, Murtezaj said that TAK continues to exercise authority in the northern part of the country, although he made it known that there are operational difficulties.
Murtezaj justified the increase in revenue collection with the conduct of more than 14,000 inspections by TAK. /KosovaPress/
