The recent decision of the Government of Kosovo to facilitate anti-Covid measures that allow the holding of weddings and parties, is expected to increase revenue for the state budget and economy in general. The Director of the Tax Administration of Kosovo (TAK), Ilir Murtezaj says in an interview for KosovaPress, that the work of the hotel and wedding hall sector is a chain that is related to several sectors of production, services, singers and hair salons.
According to director Murtezaj, all these businesses are obliged to fulfill their tax obligations to the state. TAK in total has collected about 250 million euros in the first five months of this year.
