The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has not yet received an official invitation from President Vjosa Osmani for the meeting announced by the latter with the opposition parties regarding the draft statute of the association of municipalities with a Serbian majority.
In a press conference, the head of the AAK Parliamentary Group, Besnik Tahiri, said that this party will be part of the meeting to express their concerns regarding the draft submitted by the mediators.
“We were the first to state that this statute has serious problems, which must be addressed by the Constitutional Court… We have no invitation, but this is not a topic that we should avoid. As if it were right and good, on the day when Albin Kurti and Vjosa Osmani received this draft, we should have been given one copy each and it should not have been given to us in the offices of the opposition parliamentary parties by someone from the EU… But when that meeting happens, of course we will be there”, said Tahiri. /KosovaPress
