The member of the leadership of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, in a short statement for the media said that Tirana is leading the change. After announcing the results in unit number 10 in Tirana, Tabaku said that the Democratic Party has grown by 30%, receiving 1200 votes more than in 2017, while according to her, the Socialist Party has decreased by 200 votes.
The Socialist Party (SP) has won in Unit 10 in the capital where for the first time the voting process took place electronically. In the 32 polling stations of CEAZ 40 in this unit of the Albanian capital, the Socialist Party received 6007 votes, PD 4550 votes and LSI 628 votes. Independent candidate Boiken Abazi received 179 votes.
