The Special Prosecution Office has detained two persons on suspicion of abuse of authority during the elections and giving or receiving bribes in connection with voting.
The Prosecution has announced that today will file a request for detention on remand against A.K. and S.M. who are suspected of having committed the criminal offenses “Abuse of official duty during the elections”, under Article 211 and “Giving or receiving bribery in connection with voting” from Article 212 of the KPC. It is also stated in a press release that the Special Prosecution is continuing investigations in this case.
