On Sunday, October 17, 799,960 (42.50%) of Kosovo citizens went to the polls to vote for their candidate who will lead the municipality in the next four years. Polling stations in Kosovo opened at 07:00, while closed at 19:00, according to the schedule.
The preliminary results announced by the Central Election Commission (CEC) were the surprise of these local elections. 99.80 percent of the votes have already been counted.
