It is considered that the election of the country’s president should take place immediately after the constitution of the Assembly of Kosovo. The short deadlines that Kosovo can have an acting president and the possibility of not reaching a consensus for the head of state are considered as reasons that may lead to new elections. Therefore, political experts are asking to prioritize the position of the president before the formation of the next executive. But there are those who consider that the country is still in time, to first constitute the Assembly, then to form the government, and finally to elect the president.
Arton Demhasaj from “Çohu” told KosovaPress that after the constitution of the Assembly, the president can be elected within a day, but also the new government can be formed.
