Dozens of residents of the village of Shipitulla of Obiliq protested in front of the KEK offices in Prishtina.
Residents have requested a meeting with the KEK board regarding land expropriations, but they have not been able to meet.
The resident of Shipitiulla village, Mus Mjeku said that since May 24 they have made this request, but there has been no response from the board.
Meanwhile, Ferki Mjeku has added that since 2004, the residents of this village do not even have the right to build houses.
Also, Shemsi Mjeku has emphasized that they will not give up until they receive an answer from the board.
Mjeku emphasized that there are facts that some land has been expropriated in this village, but that the request is to expropriate the entire village.
According to his story, the noise is unbearable and there is no road, ambulance, or school.
After the non-realization of the request for a meeting with the KEK board, the protesters continued to the Ministry of Economy, as they sent the same request for a meeting to this institution as well.
