The former MP of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Xhevahire Izmaku, today joined the Social Democratic Initiative (NISMA), thus returning to the political scene after a period of interruption from political activities.
The chairman of NISMA, Fatmir Limaj, welcomed Izmaku’s accession to his party, while he mentioned the difficult journey towards the reconstruction of the state.
Limaj said that with Izmaku they have started the political journey since 1999, to contribute to the re-establishment of the state, economic development, for which he said that they will continue strongly with the concept for the development of our country.
Former PDK MP, now a member of the Social Democratic Initiative (NISMA), Xhevahire Izmaku pledged to use all her professional and political potential to build and strengthen this party.
Three years ago, Xhevahire Izmaku resigned from all PDK structures and functions, after about two decades of being part of it. Meanwhile, NISMA and AAK are in a pre-election coalition. /Z. Zeneli/
