The Albanian MP of the Assembly of Serbia, Shaip Kamberi has congratulated the leader of Vetevendosje, Albin Kurti and Vjosa Osmani for the results achieved in the early parliamentary elections of February 14. Kamberi has also expressed gratitude to other political parties competing in this election about their positions regarding the preliminary election result.
“I congratulate the Vetevendosje Movement, Mr. Albin Kurti and Mrs. Vjosa Osmani, for their victory in the snap elections of February 14 in the Republic of Kosovo. I also express my gratitude to the other political parties competing in this election, namely for their prudent political stances regarding the preliminary election result. For the Presevo Valley in particular and for the Albanians in Serbia in general, it remains extremely important that the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo be functional and democratic. In the capacity of the Head of the Parliamentary Group “United Valley-SDA Sandzak” and the chairman of the Party for Democratic Action, I express my full commitment to cooperate with the new legislative, executive and presidential institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, which will emerge from the February 14 election. The Republic of Kosovo remains a special positive example in the region, regarding the legal and constitutional rights it guarantees to members of minorities.
