Serbia has become a country of political murders. Behind us are the political murders of Ivan Stamboliq, Zoran Djindziq, the assassination of Vuk Drashkoviq, the murder of Curuvija and finally the murder of Oliver Ivanoviq.
These statements were made today from the north of Mitrovica by the Serbian opposition politician, at the same time a member of the Serbian Parliament, Borislav Novakovic, during the marking of the sixth anniversary of the murder of the politician Oliver Ivanovic, where family, friends, local and wider politicians, as well as other citizens lit candles.
Novakovic from the Serbian People’s Movement, said that Serbia cannot be a civilized state, as long as these murders remain unsolved and as long as the circumstances for such murders continue to exist.
Meanwhile, Serxhan Millivojevic, MP in the Serbian Parliament from the Democratic Party, emphasized the request made in the Serbian Parliament for the formation of a Council that would investigate the circumstances of the murder of Oliver Ivanoviq, but which, as he said, the Vucic regime never allowed.
Dejan Nedelkovic, a former colleague of Ivanovic, and Savo Manojlovic from the civil society also spoke before the audience, who criticized the institutions of Kosovo, Serbia, but also the international ones, that even after six years of the murder, no one has been punished for this case.
It is worth noting that the former first wife of the murdered politician, Marina Ivanovic, during the lighting of the candles, briefly said in front of the cameras that “We who light candles here today are traitors to the Serbian people. I just wanted to send this message to some people’. However, despite the insistence of KosovaPress, she refused to speak more to clarify the meaning of what she said.
