The expert on security issues, Nuredin Ibishi, considers as a threat of the Serbian state to the Republic of Kosovo the statements of Belgrade officials about sending 1000 Serbian soldiers. According to him, this cannot happen and the citation of resolution 1244 to justify this act is all misinterpretation.
Ibishi requests that the demands of international partners be taken into account for postponing the snap municipal elections in the four northern municipalities. However, he says that security institutions should provide their assessments based on field analyses.
