German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue mediated by the European Union should resolve the issue of recognition of Kosovo, as, according to him, it is inconceivable that two countries that do not know each other become members of the European Union.
During his visit to Kosovo, in the joint press conference with Prime Minister Kurti, Scholz said that he is actively working for visa liberalization for Kosovo, but did not give a date. He reiterated the need for new dynamics of the Berlin Process, for which he announced that the next summit will be held in the autumn this year.
