The United Trade Union of Education, Science and Culture (SBASHK), is asking the Municipal Education Directorates to free from work 300 teachers who have serious and chronic diseases. This union assesses that these teachers endanger their health even more by appearing at work.
The head of SBASHK, Rrahman Jashari, in an interview for KosovaPress, says that the Ministry of Education and Science has allocated sufficient funds for these teachers to be replaced, but such a thing is not being done by the Municipal Education Directorates.
