Following the meetings during the visit to Brussels, the incumbent President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani met with the President of the European Parliament, David Sassoli. In this meeting, Osmani thanked Sassol for the proactive role of the European Parliament in supporting Kosovo on its path to the EU. She also thanked President Sassoli for his role in involving the Western Balkans in all EU efforts to fight the pandemic.
She also stressed that the role of the Assembly in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process should be increased, as well as the unification of the Kosovo political spectrum regarding the dialogue.
