On the World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Skender Reçica, visited the Elderly Care Home in Prishtina. From this center, where about 70 elderly people live in, Reçica promised an increase in the basic pension.
He said that, compared to the countries in the region, Kosovo has a young population, as only 7 percent of the population is over 65 years old.
