The decision for total closure is expected to be taken by the Government and the Ministry of Health. This has led the latter to call a meeting of Kosovo mayors to discuss the country going to a total closure in a few days. But the municipality of Rahovec is not supporting a total closure. The mayor of this municipality, Smajl Larifi told KosovaPress that the strict observance of antiCOVID-19 measures would be the way forward, mentioning that the pandemic has caused great damage to many businesses.
Latifi said that Vitia explained that all this comes after the assessments made by the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK) demanding extreme measures.
