Qazim Rrahmani has submitted his resignation from the Ashkali Party for Integration (PAI) to the Central Election Commission (CEC).
The former general secretary of this party and the former head of the branch in Ferizaj has stated that the Ashkali in Kosovo have no leader or political representative to address the protection of their rights.
“Today at the CEC we submitted our resignations in a physical and official form. Also, our resignations were joined by the branch of the municipality of Gjakova. Like the two largest branches. Also, in the following days there will be other branches which have left. We are informing the public opinion that API is currently without heads of branches and all the chairmen have reached the end of their mandate and according to the statute, no assembly has been held in a branch assembly”, he said.
