The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, initially traveled to the Republic of Panama, for an official visit to this country, to then continue the official visit to Costa Rica.
During her visit to Panama, President Osmani will be received by her counterpart Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, while he will also hold meetings with other institutions and organizations, it is announced in the press release.
During the visit, President Osmani is expected to attend the unveiling ceremony of the statue of Mother Teresa, as well as a joint forum with Panamanian Foreign Minister Erika Mouynes.
After visiting Panama, Osmani, at the invitation of the President of Costa Rica, will attend the inauguration of the new president of this state, Rodrigo Chaves.
Costa Rica, according to the date of recognition, is among the first countries that recognized the independence of Kosovo, while the visit of President Osmani is the first of a Kosovo leader in this country.
In the framework of this visit, President Osmani is expected to have other meetings.
