Political unity and institutional cooperation are required before the meeting in Washington

With just over a week left until the meeting between Kosovo and Serbia, which is expected to take place in Washington, and this is the first meeting directly led by the US, unity is required between institutions and the entire political spectrum in Kosovo. Experts on the political situation in the country assess that Kosovo’s position towards Serbia can be strong only if there is a consensus within the country on important national issues.

Violeta Haxholli from the Kosovo Democratic Institute, says that before the September meeting, the political spectrum in Kosovo must reach a consensus regarding Kosovo’s approach and position in the dialogue.
