The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) is demanding the resignation of the Ombudsperson, Naim Qelaj, after the latter rejected the complaint of the former chairwoman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Valdete Daka against the President’s decision to terminate her mandate as the chairwoman of the CEC.
After the failure of the meeting of the Presidency of the Assembly in a press conference, the head of the PDK Parliamentary Group, Abelard Tahiri, called the decision of the Ombudsperson shameful, by which the latter had rejected Daka’s appeal on the grounds that she has not provided evidence against the President’s decision.
