The Vetëvendosje MP, Fitore Pacolli, has submitted a lawsuit against the mayor of the Municipality of Prishtina, Përparim Rama, the chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, and the deputy chairwoman of this party, Doarsa Kica-Xhelili, whom she is accusing of slander against her in relation to the ‘Street A’ case.
Before submitting the lawsuit to the Basic Court of Prishtina, Pacolli said that she is filing a lawsuit for defamation and insults against her.
“I am here to submit a lawsuit against the mayor of the municipality, Përparim Rama, the chairman of the Democratic League, Lumir Abdixhiku and against the deputy chairwoman of the Democratic League, Doarsa Kica-Xhelili, regarding the case of ‘Street A’ and the decision of the Commercial Court, where they use the decision of the Commercial Court, they slander, insult and denigrate my personality by accusing me of something that is not, even they have no facts about it, so today I will sue these three people for defamation and the insult they have done to me, because with their public statuses, have incited public opinion against me, incited the citizens of Prishtina to react in relation to ‘Street A’ and to react against me without having any facts and in a very unfair way. So, I expect the court to make a decision and handle my case carefully”, she said.
Asked how she received the accusation of mayor Rama against her sister, she said that “even though we are biological sisters, we both do our work”.
She added that Vlora Pacolli, her sister, cannot make her own decisions because cases are assigned according to the rules and not individually.
The LDK chairman, Lumir Abdixhiku, said that this is a madness that leaves you speechless.
“Today, a judge decided to stop it. To stop the construction work of the “Jim Xhema” road halfway through it. The judge turns out to be the sister of the MP in power.” – wrote Abdixhiku, alluding to the sister of the Vetëvendosje MP, Fitore Pacolli. These people are full of hatred and hate; and unfortunately, they hate their own citizens. They don’t do their own work, but they can’t stand other people’s work. Prishtina and the citizens of the capital should see this madness. Initially with a budget freeze until August; now with project blockage with family members. Tireless work, in record time and on schedule. Tens of thousands of residents without a collector and in disgust, a capital without the largest capital project. We will not allow them. ‘New Road’ and ‘Street A’ do not stop. Prishtina and Kosovo will be built”, the LDK chairman wrote some time ago.
