There are currently 34,208 active cases of coronavirus in Kosovo. Most active cases are in the Municipality of Prishtina. According to the data of the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK) in the capital there are 9 thousand 655 active cases of COVID-19. Peja with 2 thousand 925 cases, Gjilan with 2 thousand 323, Prizren with 2 thousand 184, Mitrovica with 1 thousand 978, Fushë Kosova with 1 thousand 693, Gjakova with 1 thousand 684, Ferizaj with 1 605 thousand, Vushtrri with 1 thousand 142, Lipjan with 124, Podujeva with 883 cases and other municipalities with hundreds of active cases of coronavirus.
Meanwhile, in Kosovo, the antiCOVID-19 measures imposed by the government on January 22 continue to be in force. These measures which came after the increase in the number of positive cases with coronavirus. In the last report, the NIPHK reported three deaths and 1,593 new cases of COVID-19.
