Jeff Hovenier has officially started his duty as Ambassador of the United States of America in Kosovo. The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has received the credentials from the Ambassador who was appointed by President Joe Biden in July 2021. Osmani has said that the close relationship with the US remains unchanged.
“Kosovo today is very different from Kosovo, which the ambassador remembers because it has moved forward, but one thing remains the same, the relationship with the United States of America. We are blessed to have the US near us on every step of our journey. In this new chapter of cooperation, I hope to further strengthen our relationship. I strongly believe that no matter how big or small a country may be, we can all contribute to peace in the region and the world,” Osmani said.
