The president of the country, Vjosa Osmani, paid homage in front of the Jashari family cemetery in Prekaz. On the birthday of the legendary commander, the head of state said that Adem Jashari is the hero of the dignity of the Albanian people.
Osmani said that the legendary commander entered history once to remain forever.
“Resolute, courageous and combative. This is the legendary KLA commander, Adem Jashari. In marking his birthday, we bow before his grave and his family members, who sacrificed themselves for our freedom. He entered history once to remain forever and to be remembered especially on November 28, alongside Albania’s Flag and Independence Day. One day and three historical dates. Adem Jashari is the hero of our dignity! He is alive!” Osmani wrote.
After the homage, Osmani also visited Rifat Jashari, accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj.
