The incumbent President, Vjosa Osmani has given a statement regarding the snap elections that were held on Sunday in the municipalities of Podujeva and that of North Mitrovica.
She says that Kosovo proved that it is capable of organizing free and democratic elections, and that the citizens with their vote showed that the right to vote and to be elected are the foundation of democracy and respect for political freedoms.
