On the 25th anniversary of the massacre in Old Çikatova, the president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani and the Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca called for justice for the crimes committed in Kosovo.
President Vjosa Osmani called on all justice institutions to interrogate the witnesses and collect the evidence, in order to start the judicial processes for those who have committed these crimes.
The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, said that the massacres carried out show the intention of the Serbian government in the extermination and disappearance of the Albanian nation. He said that this goal of Serbia was not achieved thanks to the glorious war of the Kosovo Liberation Army and NATO forces.
The mayor of Drenas, Ramiz Lladrovci, also paid homage.
In Old Poklek and Old Çikatova, the Serbian army massacred and killed, then burned the corpses of 77 unarmed Albanian civilians, ranging from six-month-old babies to 75-year-old elders. /Z. Zeneli/
