Only yesterday, Inspectors of the Food and Veterinary Agency, imposed 120 disciplinary measures for violators of the Tobacco Control Law. And this initiative to increase inspections related to the implementation of this law came after the order given yesterday by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Faton Peci.
Whereas, only last year, FVA inspectors imposed a total of 100 punitive measures for violators of smoking in closed spaces.
The spokesperson of the Food and Veterinary Agency, Lamir Thaçi, said that upon receiving the order, all inspectors have been sent to the field and the inspections are continuing.
