While the officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kosovo have confirmed that so far only one vehicle has been registered with RKS license plates in the four northern municipalities of the country, the Serbian citizens of that part mainly do not prefer to speak publicly about the implementation of the decision of the Government of Kosovo on registration of vehicles that have illegal license plates KM, PR, etc., with RKS license plates.
Most of them are afraid to freely express their opinion about this matter.
Behind the camera, they admit that they would have liked to have registered the vehicles, but nevertheless they are forced by certain groups not to do such a thing and to act according to Belgrade’s orders, so they say that they are afraid and do not know how to act.
Two Serbs from the region of Peja, whom KosovaPress has met in the north of Mitrovica, speaking under conditions of anonymity, have made it known that the Serbs in the south and north of Kosovo, unfortunately, are not being treated the same by the state.
According to them, the northern Serbs are more privileged than the Serbs who live in other areas.
