November 3, 1443, is a historic date for Albania, as the Albanian hero, Gjergj Kastrioti- Skanderbeg left the battle of Nis and left for Kruja, where he would later fight against the Ottomans for 25 years.
The Skanderbeg era of the 15th century and his own figure, strongly influenced the spiritual life of the Albanians, and the growth of their national consciousness.
