Due to the non-payment of additional salaries of 300 euros to health workers, technicians and drivers, strikes to boycott work will begin next week.
The chairman of the Independent Trade Union of the Private Sector, Jusuf Azemi told KosovaPress, that technical workers, drivers, and security workers in Kosovo hospitals are directly dealing with patients who are, or may be affected by Covid-19, so, as he says, they should be treated the same as doctors and nurses when it comes to the extra payment of 300 euros.
