During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the RT-PCR method, a total of 1,626 samples taken from the HUCSK and the tracking of case contacts in the field were tested, of which 546 cases resulted positive. Within 24 hours, nine deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive.
