In addition to the increase in the number of positive cases with COVID-19, the number of active cases with this virus has also increased. There are currently 25,458 active cases of COVID-19 in Kosovo. In the Municipality of Prishtina alone there are 8 thousand 864 active cases. Peja currently has 1 thousand 925 cases, Mitrovica 1 thousand 763, Gjilan 1 thousand 559, Prizren 1 thousand 497, Fushë Kosova 1 thousand 380, Gjakova 1 thousand 253, Ferizaj with 946 and other municipalities with hundreds active cases with COVID-19.
On Wednesday the number of positive cases was alarming. In just one day, the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK) reported 4,397 positive cases of coronavirus.
