The mayor of Rahovec, Smajl Latifi, has expressed his opposition to the idea of the Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, regarding the forgiveness of the first 100 euros of the total amount of property tax. The minister proposed that those who have a property tax of 200 euros, 100 euros will be forgiven, while 100 remains for payment, whereas those who have taxes worth up to 100 euros, they will be completely forgiven. However, Latifi said that with this idea, it is better to put a lock on the municipality, since in Rahovec about 90% of the citizens do not pay taxes.
