The MP of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Armend Muja, emphasizing the government’s latest package for dealing with inflation, said that the strikes should stop because the teachers are also the beneficiaries of this support.
In the first plenary session for the autumn session, deputy Muja requested that classes begin in schools and that political battles continue in other forms.
The teachers of all public institutions in Kosovo are on strike, with the request for financial support of 100 euros per month. The only exception are some teachers who individually have started teaching. Public administration workers, as well as civil servants in local and central institutions, are also on strike from August 25.
