Mamusha is facing the emigration of young people and the decline of the birth rate

After the visa liberalization for Kosovo, like other municipalities, Mamusha is facing the emigration of young people. In addition, many citizens are resigning from the public institutions where they work, to go abroad. Meanwhile, the decline in the birth rate is also considered a challenge for the newest municipality of Kosovo.

The mayor of Mamusha, Abdulhadi Krasniç, in an interview for KosovaPress, says that they have started to face the emigration of young people, including employees from this municipality.

Another challenging issue for Mamusha, Krasniç considers is the drop in the birth rate, for which he says that the right strategy must be found to stimulate parents to increase the population.

In addition, Krasniç points out that the value of the budget allocated for projects of 2024 is half a million euros.

Mayor Krasniç said that they are in the process of signing the agreement for the start of works on the house of culture and the library.

Meanwhile, the mayor of the smallest municipality in Kosovo, Abdulhadi Krasniç, emphasized that the request to the current government to increase the staff of the Main Family Medicine Center (MFMC) continues. He hopes that during this year with the revision of the budget, or at the latest with that of 2025, the issue of increasing the staff of the MFMC will be resolved.

Meanwhile, the mayor of this municipality said that they did not vote in favor of waiving the property tax, since its total value is 30 thousand euros, for which he added that the citizens have agreed with this decision. /Z. Zeneli/
