The chairman of the Kosovo Prosecution Council, Jetish Maloku, at the annual press conference, where he presented the one-year work of the KPC, commented on the change in the security measure for the former Serbian police officer, Dejan Pantiq. He said that it is not the responsibility of the Prosecutor’s Office to bring Pantic before the justice bodies.
During this conference, Maloku said that in 2022, they have had efficiency in the fight against corruption and economic crime, whereas as a challenge for this institution, he said that it was the decree of the Chief State Prosecutor, which he said is the responsibility of the president, Vjosa Osmani. As another challenge, he also mentioned the decision to reduce salaries for prosecutors.
