LPK’s 40th anniversary is marked: The movement contributed to the liberation of Albanian lands

The People’s Movement of Kosovo – LPK, in difficult circumstances of the occupation, has moved forward towards its main goal, the national liberation of the Albanian lands. This was said today at the academy held in Ferizaj to mark the 40th anniversary of the political union of Albanian patriotic organizations and the creation of the Kosovo People’s Movement (LPK).

On behalf of the mayor of the municipality of Ferizaj, Agim Aliu, Valton Dërguti, said that the history of the Albanian people has shown that at certain moments, political parties have always shown their maturity by uniting to fight against centuries-old enemies.

“Such a union was also 40 years ago when the patriotic associations of Kosovo Albanians managed to unite for an ideal, for the freedom of the country. May the blood of all those who gave their lives for freedom be eternal and a permanent memorial for all the activists who contributed to the freedom and liberation of the country”, said the Envoy.
