Kosovar judoka Loriana Kuka is getting closer to a medal at the Judo Masters, which is taking place in Doha, Qatar. Kuka has reached the quarterfinals of the -78 kg category, after defeating in the first round Myriam Sarah Mazouz of Gabon, and in the second round the French Audrey Tcheumeo, who is the champion of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, KosovaPress reports.
In the quarterfinals she will face Shori Hamada, the representative of Japan and at the same time world champion in 2018, and runner-up in the world in 2019.
