The Democratic League of Kosovo has commented on the 20 thousand euro fine imposed by the Electoral Panel for Complaints and Submissions.
LDK candidate for MP Besian Mustafa said that the legal team is analyzing it, while he said that there is information that a request has also been submitted to the Supreme Court due to the amount of the fine.
Mustafa: Lawyers are analyzing it
“Our team of lawyers is analyzing it, as far as I know, they have also filed a request with the Supreme Court, due to the amount of the fine. As soon as we receive a final answer, we will inform you,” said Mustafa.
The decision comes after the Vetëvendosje Movement, the ruling party, complained to the ECAP that Xhenet Syka, the LDK candidate for MP, had published a video on social media comparing Prime Minister Albin Kurti to Nazi Adolf Hitler.
