From many different sectors, several companies from Kosovo and Austria have promoted their businesses at the Kosovo-Austria Economic Forum, which is being held in Pristina. The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti stated that Kosovo has potential for foreign investments and is the best place to do business. Furthermore, Prime Minister Kurti spoke to Austrian and Kosovar businessmen about the opportunities that companies have to invest in Kosovo.
He singled out the construction of infrastructure, namely the Prizren-Durres railway, where he called the Austrian companies to invest.
Meanwhile, Kurti also spoke about the positive economic trends in his government, where he said that 25 thousand jobs have been created and that there is an economic growth rate of 10.35 percent.
Whereas, the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari assured the Austrian companies that Kosovo has preconditions and opportunities for investments, especially in the sectors of production, agriculture, tourism and renewable energy.
