Within the “Public Diplomacy” component of the “Kosovo, State of Judo” state program, an international training camp was held at the National Judo Center in Peja for two weeks.
Judo teams from England, Bulgaria, Poland, South Africa, Sweden and Bosnia and Herzegovina were part of this Camp, KosovaPress reports.
Participating competitors were prepared for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The camp was led by our coach and selector Driton Kuka. Judo has not only been bringing sporting success to Kosovo for several years now, but it is also contributing to tourism and public diplomacy where, in less than 1 month, more than 20 countries have come to visit and trained at the National Judo Center in Peja.
