Distria Krasniqi won today the gold medal in the European Senior Judo Championship.
In the category up to 52 kilograms, Krasniqi recorded four victories, whereas in the final she defeated the Italian judoka, Odette Giuffrida, to win the gold medal, reports KosovaPress.
Immediately after the success of Distria, the coach of the Kosovo Judo Team, Driton Kuka, reacted, who described Krasniqi as “the Queen of Europe from my dear Kosovo”.
