KSF teams continue search and rescue in Turkey, the ministry expresses its readiness to provide additional assistance

The search and rescue teams of the Kosovo Security Force are continuing the operation in Hataty, which is considered the most affected area from the earthquakes that hit Turkey days ago. There are currently two urban search and rescue teams, two military emergency medical teams, and three specialized units with dogs trained to find victims and survivors under the rubble. In addition, the Ministry of Defense has expressed its readiness to send additional aid if requested by the Turkish state.

Meanwhile, a team of the Kosovo Security Force was sent yesterday to support the Search and Rescue operations of the KSF contingent in the operation area in Turkey.

According to the KSF, the team consisting of officers and non-commissioned officers will join the contingent to support the operations with personnel and specialized work equipment that will help in the most efficient way the operations.

The teams of the Force have been operating in Turkey since the morning of February 8 and so far, they have managed to get a two-year-old child and his mother alive from the ruins of the earthquake.
