The organization of beds in clinics, reorganizing health staff, and providing medicines and oxygen were some of the major challenges faced by Kosovo’s fragile health system. As a result of the pandemic, the number of patients in clinics and hospitals in Kosovo increased, but despite this, the acting director of the University Clinical Hospital Service of Kosovo, Valbon Krasniqi, says that no patient has been left without medical treatment.
Krasniqi even announced the return of services in special clinics and elective services in UCCK clinics, services which were suspended due to the pandemic.
