The Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Doing Business in Kosovo (CDBK), Skënder Krasniqi says that the presence of a large number of businesses at the Tirana International Fair, shows the interest for development and inclusion in the Albanian market.
Despite the presence of businesses from Kosovo, Krasniqi tells KosovaPress that there should be more representation at the fair, which is being held at the Palace of Congresses.
“We hope to have such fairs next year in Pristina as well, much more than in previous years before the pandemic. The presence of all these businesses shows their interest in developing much more. Albania and the countries of the region are interested in being more present in the Albanian market. In this fair, there are some businesses of Kosovo that are participating, but they are much less compared to the capacities that Kosovo has”, said Krasniqi.
On the second day of the International Business Fair, Krasniqi says that Kosovo has had stagnation in economic development.
“As a country, in recent years, due to political problems, we have had stagnation in economic development and a great opening will probably damage us more than it will open us, because we need to be strengthened with the legal infrastructure, both with a business offer and with the protection of our businesses, in order to have the opportunity to then have greater openness like other countries”, he said.
The Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Doing Business in Kosovo, Skënder Krasniqi, emphasizes that Kosovo should be more present at this fair.
“We saw that Serbia is present in a part of the fair and we believe that in nest years, Kosovo will be more present. Of course, we are in contact with the leaders of the fair “Klik Ekspo Group” and we believe that together with them, in next years, we are much more active here and in other countries”, said Krasniqi.
The International Business Fair is organized by Klik Ekspo Group. This is the 27th edition, and this year it is followed by the slogan “One Balkan, stronger Balkans”. For the first time, all the countries of the Western Balkans are participating in this fair. KosovaPress is a media sponsor of the Tirana International Fair. KosovaPress is also a participant in this fair organized by Klik Ekspo Group.
